Similar to a pack walk but with a focus on rewarding calm relaxed behavior around other dogs, sights and sounds. We will do some light walking exercises around other dogs and some focus work. This particular outing will be trainer led as well for some light instruction; you are encouraged to go at your own pace and set your dog up for success. True dog socialization is relaxed and calm in the presence of other dogs All dogs’ welcome.

Q: Can reactive dogs come to Zen dog hour?

A: Yes, we encourage reactive dogs to come! Work at your own distance and the trainer will help you determine when to reward great behaviors!

Q: My dog barks is that ok?

A: Yes we will help you work through it! Not all dogs start as a “zen dog”

Q: What do I need to bring with me?

A: A mat or blanket, for your dog, water for your dog and high value rewards. You are welcome to bring a chair and snacks for yourself as well.

Q: Will other dogs come over and greet my dog?

A: NO! We do not allow dog to dog greets during any of our training other than puppy class.
